With the first game being released in 1986 the legend of Zelda has been around for quite a while and with "25 games on 12 consoles" the series is more to then just a game series and with that comes a lot of debates between different games in the series and today i will talk about my opinion of which game is better, a link to the past or ocarina of time. a lttp is considered by many to be the best game for the super Nintendo, for me the game was a re imagined version of the original Zelda,
it had very cool puzzles very good game play, the graphics were great and had awesome bosses. However i did not like the games combat system , you could only swing your sword one way which made some of the game play boring and the story wasn't very well developed so it was hard to understand the way the characters felt. Ocarina of time, one of the best games of all time had awesome graphics, rich story, amazing detail and and the combat system was magnificent, ocarina of time introduced z targeting which allowed for much better and more realistic combat for the time. sadly the one problem for the game is that the bosses were easy but the games was still really fun either way. well in my opinion ocarina of time is better because to me the legend of Zelda feels better in 3D and even though a link to the past is great, it just did not feel as good as playing ocarina, thank you and once again feel free to comment for your opinion.

ReplyDeleteI feel like comparing the two is unfair, considering they're both such different games. I feel like the N64 version of Ocarina of Time has aged rather poorly, mostly due to rather poor graphics and a few stupid flaws, like how you have to go into the menu to switch the boots each time. I haven't played much of A Link To The Past, so I can't comment too much on that game.
ReplyDeleteyes i completly agrre craig this game is constently compared but they are 2 complety different generations of gaming so i get your point however i still beleive that ocarina of time is more fun to play.
